Bear Valley Resort is 3 miles away - 1250 skiable acres, 10 lifts, 70 runs and almost 2000 verticle feet! First timers love the lesson program, intermediates rave about the beautiful blue runs overlooking Mokelumne Peak and advanced skiers come from all over the state when the double black Grizzly Bowl terrain is open!
Kids love Bear Valley! The Bear Valley Summer program is a day camp offering children the chance to try kayaking, rock climbing, camping, hiking and learning all kind of cool stuff. For families exploring on their own, Bear Valley is a base for all kind of mountain fun!
There is something for everyone at Bear Valley Resort, a laid back, family friendly resort. Extensive snow-making capabilities means skiing is offered even if Mother Nature doesn't co-operate!
Welcome to Bear Valley! 2.5 hours from the central valley and at 7200 feet, we are your alpine playground! Winter, spring, summer or fall, this little part of the Sierra Nevada offers something special.
Bear Valley Cross Country and Adventure Company run 36 miles of varied cross country gliding and skating trails in the winter (and tubing and snowshoeing!). In the summer, they are the place to go for bike, kayak and canoe rentals and are also run the local Disk Golf course.
Bring the family! Do you want to enroll the kids in lessons or take the chance to have family adventures in a fun and safe environment? Little ones will remember their first day sledding and cherish their ski school report cards for a long time to come!
It's how we get around! In the Bear Valley neighborhood, some residential roads close when it snows.
Lake Alpine and Spicer, Utica and Union reservoirs are close by, and are a huge draw for people who love the water. Fed by the Stanislaus river, the large network of coves and islands beg to be explored!

Cute Studio with private sleeping area. Light and charming!

This corner studio is well maintained and has lots of lovely features. The main floor is a bright welcoming open plan layout. There is a dining table and bar seating at the kitchen. The lounge has a comfortable couch/ sleeper sofa and a wood fireplace. There is a full bathroom. A private balcony with a peaceful tree view is perfect for morning coffee.

Upstairs on a mezzanine level there is a sleeping space with a queen bed. Bright and airy, and allows you to sleep with privacy.

It is positioned across the way from the Bear Valley Music Festival tent, the library and disc golf course and just around the corner from the village commercial center where you will find the Lodge, General Store and restaurants. Cross Country and Adventure Company and snowmobile shop can be found just down the road too!
