Multi-family cabin in the heart of Bear Valley!
This is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home on 3 levels! The main level is warm and welcoming with an open plan living area, comfortable leather sofas, a rock feature fireplace with a propane insert for those cozy evenings by the fire. There is also a large TV with firestick capability and a DVD player. There are large windows (double pane throughout) that allow light to stream in so even in the heaviest snowfall the cabin feels welcoming! The dining table seats up to 8 and is positioned to enjoy the views. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom on the main floor. Both bedrooms are queen rooms.
The kitchen is open plan with great views and bar seating. It is fully equipped, with a coffee maker and filters, dishwasher, blender, cookware etc. A large fridge freezer is available for your groceries. Upstairs there is an open loft, with 4 beds and a small bathroom built into the eaves. It is a spacious room and ideal for children There are 3 twin beds and a queen comfortably laid out. Downstairs is another bedroom with two twin beds, a bathroom and a second living area - a large games room! Watch a show on the TV or break out the ping pong for hours of fun. There is a sleeper sofa in the games room.
Outside there are 2 decks, 1 of them being a large private deck with a couple of Adirondack chairs for morning coffee. It overlooks a firepit nestled in the granite boulders that scatter the property. Access is by way of a cul-de-sac in the summer months, leading to ample off street parking. In the winter access will be via snowmobile when you check in and out; between your check-in and check-out days, you can request snowmobile taxi service. And there is a great sledding hill right next door!
Well behaved dogs are welcome.
**Please note, that during Winter, roads to the houses are closed to wheeled vehicles. As part of your reservation, we provide snowmobile transportation upon your arrival and departure.

With three full bathrooms, this house can truly accommodate 12 people although seating for that many at the dining table would be tough. Kitchen is quite well equipped and the washer and dryer really came in handy. For winter use, a drying rack for gloves, etc. would be very handy. Sledding down the long driveway adds an exciting element to a winter stay.

This was our first trip to Bear Valley and we absolutely loved it! We had a wonderful time! Our kids can't stop talking about it and already want to go back!! I'm looking into planning another trip, including staying in this cabin, very soon. The cabin was spacious, cozy and had everything we needed! The hill right outside was a hit with our kids and sledding! Even our dogs loved it! Bear Valley Vacation Rentals was great too! Staff was helpful from the first phone call to the checking-out process! We can't wait to return and will us BVVR again! Thank you :)

We loved our stay at Home #183! It had everything we needed for a fun family snow vacation. The staff at Bear Valley Vacation Rentals are so easy to work with, very accommodating and friendly. Donnie's snow taxi service was awesome-the kids (and adults) loved the ride and Donnie was super friendly. We highly recommend this home (sleeps 12 easily) and we hope to return!

This is one of the best kept cabins in BV, and we've stayed in many. High quality furniture and beds, and close to town. Lots of room and privacy.

Our family has been going to Bear Valley six years now. We started with a condo and the family grew and so did the places we stayed. Every year there is an addition to the family, a baby, a son in law and this year my son proposed to his girlfriend during our snow trip. We were all involved in the surprise she had no idea, it was during our family picture outside with all that fresh snow. We love this vacation home its our second year we rented it. We love that our dog can come along with us, its all in the family. We have nothing but wonderful memories and great times at Bear Valley and next year the little ones will be starting to snowboard...to be continued. <3
